Great lakes and Climate Change

Great lakes and Climate Change
The Great Lakes and Climate Change project investigates historical maps of North America by European cartographers to trace latent climatological or ecological information they might contain. Through shape and size analysis of lake bodies, alongside historical research of the area, it is possible to assemble new insights about the ecology and climate of region during the long 18th Century.
