To date, ICHASS has hosted two Institutes for Advanced Topics in Digital Humanities (IATDH), summer workshops that emphasize specific skills relevant to computational research in humanistic disciplines. Funded by the Office for Digital Humanities at the National Endowment for the Humanities, the IATDH is a yearly program hosted by various centers around the United States. ICHASS’s specific aim in each of its Institutes was to connect high-performance computing with research in the humanities and arts. The instructional units in computer vision, network analysis, and data visualization remain as resources for consultations and project assistance.
